essentially a human-made accident through gross mismanagement and neglect, that physically canโt happen with other reactor types (in part because they all have containment buildings now). so yes we can guarantee that nothing even approaching chernobyl will ever happen with modern reactors.
even so chernobyl still killed fewer people than the German Atomausstieg has through increased air pollution because of additional coal being burnt

Love people using 3 mile island as an example. 3 mile island is an example of where things WORKED, that the failsafes kicked in so only a miniscule amount of radiation was released, which not only didnt kill anyone, but no one was injured, no adverse health effects were caused, and there was no damage to the surrounding environment. Despite the incident, the other reactor continued to run until 2019!
And again: the point isnโt โdo you prefer renewables or nuclearโ. The point is โeveryone fighting againsy nuclear power has further entrenched coal and oil power and caused a LOT more damage to the environmentโ

By sticking it in the back of the keyway and slowly pulling it out, I can tell that this is a five-pin tumbler lock, that can easily be single-pin picked using this shed demon scale as a tensioner tool. Let’s try that right now. Alright, nothing on one. Nothing on two. Three is binding firmly, click out of that. Nothing on four. Five is binding, little click there, back to one. Once again, nothing. Whatโs really funny to me is that Vala is an alien whoโs only been on Earth off and on for like a year. So even though she know very little about Earth, she knows that Daniel is considered a bit of a joke to his fellow archaeologists.

a few days ago bf told me that a couple years ago when he played counterstrike he would respond to dudes getting angry and aggressive and hostile by saying “a kissaroo from me to you” in a slightly goofy friendly voice sort of like the voice you’d associate with a dog muppet. he said they would absolutely lose their shit every time, insisting things like “i dont want a kissaroo from you! only tall blonde girls!”. they always said kissaroo. i cant stop thinking about this
